For those that don't know the band Dream Theater - who are known for covering entire albums in their live shows, including "Number..." - started a record label - YtseJam Records - earlier this year so they could release "Official bootlegs" along side their regular releases

Aside from the obvious question of why Maiden don't do this as Steve must have tapes going right back to the start and many bands are doing it now (Marillion, Fish, Glenn Hughes and others) ?????

Anyway, you may be interested to know that one of the three tittles currently available - the not very snappily titled "Los Angeles, California 5/18/98" - features Bruce Dickinson on four tracks.

These are complete versions of "Perfect Stranges" (The purple song) and "The Trooper" plus bits of "Where Eagles Dare" and "Killers"

The double disc soundboard set can only be bought from the Ytsejam Records Wedsite at:

http://www.ytsejamrecords.com/

Remember these are officially released bootlegs, taken from tapes provided by the band themselves and in particular the drummer Mike Protnoy (the MP mentioned on the site) and as advertised on the Official Dream Theater website.

PS: I have no conection with ytsejam Records other than having bought from them.
