Hello all,
This is my first post and as is probably usual it begins with a request for information (sorry!).
I've read here and there on the Internet that there are a number of pretty rare live tracks kicking around on a bootleg or two, namely: The Loneliness Of The Long Distance Runner (Belgrade '86?), Invaders (Auckland '92?) and Only The Good Die Young (??).
Would it be possible for someone to:
1. confirm these tracks were indeed played?
2. confirm whether a bootleg exists with these tracks on?
3. let me know where I can get hold of them?
4. suggest any other rarely played live tracks that I'm not aware of?
5. tell me when they will finally play Alexander The Great live???? :x
I would say I have money to pay but it's nice to see that the bootleg "trade" has become a swapping pastime rather than a money making industry. I have shows that I've taken from my old tapes and tried my best to enhance them digitally (to give them a fuller sound when tinny and to reduce the noise when they are too bassy, etc, etc.), although judging by some of the posts here I'm not sure I'd have anything that's rare enough for you not to already own!
Any help that anyone can offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Peter.
(Fantastic forum by the way....)
