Actually, it is simpler. I don't use Nero. I use Roxio. I burn on the fly without any problems whatsoever with that program and my Samsung 40X. Since I don't have a hard drive to save the shows to, it's best to leave them on cd and do a direct copy on the fly. I can burn a perfect copy in...

That is wierd. I thought since the surfaces didn't change in the burn (the laser goes through the plastic surface to write on the dye), putting them face to face without rubbing them wouldn't do any damage. I never put them face to face only because scratches give the laser a difficult time...

I do pack my cds double in a sleeve, but I find no harm in doing it the opposite way - writing surfaces facing out. Then I pack them in a bubbled envelope and all works fine.

I guess I am old fashioned. All mine are on cds. It makes copying a lot simpler, but storage a little heavier.
