I don't like the Fear of the Dark period.
Songs as:
From here to eternity
Fear is the Key
Chains of Misery
Weekend Warrioir
The Apparation
Wasting Love
are quite poor IMO. Not Maiden like.
But...............most of the songs of them are just GREAT!
Nice question: how many shows of Maiden have you guys seen and what was the best?
My list:
- 1986 Somewhere on Tour Leiden (NL)
- 1988 Seventh Tour Tilburg (NL)
- 1990 No Prayer Tour Leiden (NL)
- 1990 No Prayer Tour...
The reincarnation of Benjamin Breeg!
Great song and live it blows you away.
If you have the promo single; there is an other version on it which is even better then the original.

In my opinion Maiden have made fantastic live albums:
- Maiden Japan
- Beast over Hammersmith
- LAD
- Maiden England
- Rock in Rio
- Death on the Road
The only live albums I don't like very much are Donnington 1992, a real live + dead One. The sound is quite poor IMO and Bruce wasn't...
Thanks for your replies. Blaze is great singer IMO but NOT the man for Iron Maiden. As I said, nobody can replace Bruce but he did what he could.
It was an interesting period for Maiden then, but I am sure that everyone is glad that the situation now is better.
Iron Maiden: none
Killers: Drifter
Numer of the Beast: none
Piece of Mind: Quest for Fire
Poweslave: none
Somewhere in Time: none
7th Son of a 7th Son: CIPWM
No Prayer...
I don't think many Maiden fans HATE Blaze but I think they think he just has never been the right singer for Maiden.
Have being a Maiden fan since 1982, I was very disappointed that Bruce left the band in back 1993. Three years earlier Adrian had left Maiden and both Bruce and Adrian have...
